Getting Started with Giving Days

In this session, we will guide you through the process of registering and setting up your organization, covering everything from an overview of the dashboard to adding users, linking bank accounts, and more. We’ll conclude by reviewing steps for creating your Giving Day profile, and how to prepare for the steps following your initial setup!

In the final session of our three-part series, we’ll focus on key strategies for final preparations, along with tips and best practices to engage your supporters and ensure success both during and after your Giving Day.
In-person Trainings
This year we are offering FIVE in-person training options to review tips and best practices, answer questions, and debut our 2026 HVGives swag! Each session will include information about matches, peer-to-peer fundraising and other tools for social media and virtual outreach. We will also have previous participants share ideas that have helped them make their day a huge success in the past.
Trainings will be held in Orange, Sullivan, Rockland, Ulster, and Dutchess counties. Register by sending an email to admin@cfosny.org with your information and which session you would be attending!
